Privacy Policy
Updated: 10/23/2026
MAKOLTA Bar Association handles enquiries submitted through makolta.ru. Contact address: 105005, Moscow, Baumanskaya St., 22, office 107. Email: info@makolta.ru. Telephone: +7 (926) 01-01-002. The association is the personal data controller for enquiries it receives. A website development credit does not by itself make the developer a recipient of enquiries.
Purposes and information
We use your name and phone number and, if you choose to provide them, email, general topic and preferred contact time to respond and arrange contact with an advocate. The basis is your separate affirmative consent. Enquiries are not used for advertising or mailing lists. Visiting the website does not constitute consent to process an enquiry.
Network address, time, browser and page information may be used to keep the website secure and prevent abuse within the limits permitted by law. Do not submit documents, health information, criminal records, passport details or other people’s information through the form. Give only a general topic and discuss confidential circumstances directly with an advocate.
Handling, retention and protection
Information is collected, recorded, stored, updated and used to respond, and blocked or destroyed when required. Processing may be automated and, where needed, manual. Only authorised persons receive access for the enquiry’s purpose. Access controls, verification of authority and protected transmission are used. Personal data is not published or sold.
Initial recording and storage of Russian citizens’ enquiries take place in a database in Russia. Enquiry data is retained until the enquiry is completed, for no longer than one year after submission unless another legal basis or a separate agreement requires a different period. Once the purpose is fulfilled or consent withdrawn, processing stops and data is destroyed within statutory periods unless another lawful basis applies. A separate legal assistance agreement governs subsequent case work together with applicable law.
Service providers and notifications
Technical providers may be engaged only for necessary tasks on lawful grounds. Disclosure to public authorities occurs where required by law. Any cross-border transfer requires the controller to fulfil applicable legal requirements in advance; this policy alone does not authorise it.
If you separately allow transmission through Telegram in the enquiry form, authorised MAKOLTA staff may receive your name, phone, email, message and contact-time preferences there. This does not publish your data. Telegram is a third-party service with its own data-processing terms. This choice is optional: without it, notifications contain only the fact that an enquiry exists and a protected link; contacts and the message require access to the management panel. Declining does not prevent you from submitting an enquiry or receiving a response.
Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form against automated submissions. When a page containing the form is used, the service may receive connection, device and verification interaction information. The enquiry fields are not intended for that service. You may call the association instead. Service privacy information: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/. External messenger and map links are optional and subject to the relevant service’s rules.
Preferences and statistics
The website remembers language, appearance and the statistics choice. Optional statistics load only after consent. If Yandex Metrika is enabled, visit and device information may be processed under https://yandex.ru/legal/confidential/. Declining statistics does not prevent browsing. You can clear this website’s saved browser data and choose again on a subsequent visit.
Advocate matching assistant
The assistant matches a general topic to published practice areas. It is not intended to receive personal information, documents or confidential case details. Use only a general topic without identifying details. The question is temporarily processed for matching; it is not stored in the enquiry database, forwarded to advocates or used to train the assistant. The visible conversation disappears when the page reloads. You contact an advocate yourself.
Your rights
You may request information about processing, request correction, blocking or deletion on lawful grounds, withdraw consent, and complain to Roskomnadzor or a court. Send the request to info@makolta.ru or the postal address above, identifying the request and a reply channel. Verification may be needed to protect your information. Requests are handled within statutory periods. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
This policy applies to makolta.ru. A new version is published when processing arrangements change. Version date: 23 October 2026.
